Xbiotix® is the first postbiotic in Bulgaria available in gastro-resistant capsules.
Xbiotix® contains 500 mg of fermentate from nutritional yeast called Saccharomyces cerevisiae (based on the patented EpiCor® process).

What is Xbiotix?
• A postbiotic is a preparation of non-viable microorganisms and/or their components that provide health benefits to the host. Fermented outside the body by bacteria or yeast, the postbiotic contains beneficial essential metabolites:
o Increases the activity of NK (Natural Killer) cells
o Supports the normal physiological rhythm of the gastrointestinal tract
o Supports a healthy microbiome
o Delivers high-metabolite immunogens
o Strengthens mucous membranes

• A clinically proven product that supports immune health as well as gastrointestinal comfort.

The difference between a prebiotic, probiotic, and postbiotic (Xbiotix®).
• Prebiotics, such as the fibers found in leafy green vegetables, are the fuel for the beneficial bacteria in your gut. They serve as a food source for the microorganisms in the intestines.
• Probiotics are live microorganisms isolated from the human gut and proven to have a beneficial effect. They are found in dietary supplements and fermented foods such as yogurt and other similar products.
• Postbiotics (Xbiotix®), fermented outside the body by bacteria or yeast, contain the beneficial essential metabolites produced by the billions of microorganisms consumed in the form of probiotics.
o Do not require special storage; 36-month stability at room temperature
o Unlike prebiotics and probiotics, the effect is noticeable from the first intake

Dosage
• The recommended dose for adults and children over 4 years of age is 1 capsule per day.

• Not suitable for children under 4 years of age, pregnant, or breastfeeding women.
Due to insufficient data, the supplement may be used in children under 4 years only under medical supervision.
Although approved by the USDA as a dietary supplement and widely consumed, the safety of Saccharomyces cerevisiae fermentate intake during breastfeeding is unknown.
