BestaMed Ltd. has signed a contract under the procedure “Development of Innovations in Enterprises” BG16RFPR001-1.001.
Title – Development of a new food supplement containing primarily plant extracts to support liver function.
Objectives of the project proposal:

Development of a new food supplement and/or medicinal product containing primarily plant extracts to support liver function.

Results from tests identifying the most suitable dosage form – liquid, solid, or semi-solid forms.

Results from tests determining the most appropriate blending of raw materials to produce liquid, solid, or semi-solid substances.

Results from a study of plants aimed at using alternative sources for obtaining biologically active substances and their application in pharmaceutical practice, through phytochemical research to further characterize the chemical composition of the plant.

Conducted in vitro/in vivo testing of the total extract for hepatoprotective activity.

Selection of an appropriate dosage form for incorporating the extract – capsules, tablets, others.
