What Zenaro is and what it is used for

Levocetirizine dihydrochloride is the active substance in Zenaro.
Zenaro is an antiallergic medicine used to treat symptoms associated with:

  • allergic rhinitis, including chronic allergic rhinitis

  • urticaria (hives)

The product is intended for adults, adolescents, and children aged 6 years and above.


What Zenaro looks like and what the package contains

Zenaro are almost white, oblong, biconvex film-coated tablets, embossed with “e” on one side.

Primary packaging: Al/Al blister or PVC/Aclar/Al blister or PVC/Aclar/PVC/Al blister or PVC/PE/PVdC/Al blister.
Secondary packaging: folding carton box.


Pack sizes

Different packages contain 7, 20, 28, 50, 90, or 100 film-coated tablets.
This means either 1 or 4 blisters, each containing 7 film-coated tablets, together in one folding carton box with a patient information leaflet; or 2, 5, 9, or 10 blisters, each containing 10 film-coated tablets, together in one folding carton box with a patient information leaflet.

Not all pack sizes may be marketed.
