Bulgarian Association for Medicines Parallel Development of Drug Trade received two nominations for the annual awards of the Federation of Bulgaria Patient Forum “Daniela Seizova – In the Name of Life” 2019.<\/p>\n
Business with a Cause and Best Patient-Corresponding Institution are the two categories in which BAMPTD\u00a0was\u00a0discussed for a reward by the patient organization.\u00a0The prize was given to Hristofor Ivanov, chairman of BAMPTD at\u00a0official award ceremony\u00a0that took\u00a0place on December 05, 2019.\u00a0He stated out the dedication of BAMPTD to continue working for better patients\u2019 access to therapy and for searching drug shortage solutions.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0award\u00a0is\u00a0the result of the online platform creation for servicing medicines shortage signals. It was designed as part of a joint action program with the FBPF, which was set out in a Memorandum of Cooperation, which also includes joint actions to build an effective regulatory framework that would allow for rapid delivery of proven drug shortages and regulation of drug imports, that are deregistered for reasons other than pharmacovigilance.<\/p>\n

BAMPTD also maintains a hotline to the platform through which it receives signals over the telephone and thus provides quick feedback to the received shortage signals via the Internet.
