What is Vitopril Plus tabl. 20mg/12.5mg x 30 and what is it used for:

Vitopril plus is a medicinal product intended for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains two medicines called lisinopril and hydrochlorothiazide.

Lisinopril belongs to a class of so-called angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors. It works by dilating the blood vessels, thereby facilitating the flow of blood into them.

Hydrochlorothiazide belongs to a class of drugs called diuretics.

It stimulates the excretion of water and salts such as sodium in your urine.

The two medicines work together to lower your blood pressure.

Vitopril plus are white, round, biconvex tablets with a dividing line on both sides and marked with: C 10 or C20 on one side.

Vitopril plus is available in PVC/PVDC/aluminum blister packs containing: 10, 14, 15, 28, 30, 40, 50 tablets.
