What is Betaserc 16 mg x 60 tablets and what is it used for?

The active substance of this medicine is betahistine. It is supposed that this medicine improves the blood flow in the inner ear, which leads to decrease of the pressure , decrease the strength and frequency of the dizziness (vertigo), decreased ringing in the ears (tinnitus), decrease in or loss of hearing , especially when the treatment is in timely manner. Betaserc is used for treatment of Meniere’s disease, comprising of the following symptoms: feeling of dizziness (vertigo), often accompanied with nausea and vomiting, ringing in the ears ( tinnitus), loss of hearing or difficulties in hearing.

How Betaserc 16 mg x 60 tablets looks and what is the content of the pack?

Betaserc 16 mg are round tablets with beveled edges, white to off-white with a score-line and, with a concaved image, in PVC/PVDC blisters and aluminum lidding foil , of 30, 40, 42 and 60 tablets in package. Not all package types could be marketed.
